MSD Engineering Pte Ltd was incorporated on 4 April 05. The company was founded by Mr Tan Suan Hoe and relocated to bigger premises at 16 Sungei Kadut Avenue, Singapore 729652 from 28 Jan 08. It now has an office with store/workshop space of more than 40,000 sq ft.
MANAGEMENT AND STAFF
MSD Engineering Pte Ltd has a group of experienced sales and technical staff, which all together, has an average 10 years they have in the industry. Each staff member holds either a diploma or tertiary qualifications, besides having extensive work experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries.
MSD staff is trained to provide technical support for its products in areas of testing, repair and servicing. We have the capability to automate hydraulically, electrically or pneumatically our valves in our workshop. MSD is also well connected with manufacturers from Europe, USA and Asia and is able to supply products with exotic materials at short notice.
MARKET/CUSTOMER BASE
Our main market is in Asia, primarily Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei and China. Our clients include Foster Wheeler, Shell, Petrobras, CNOOC, Petronas, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Pertamina, Sembawang Engineering amongst other major players in the industry.

FACILITIES
MSD Engineering Pte Ltd is also equipped with hydro test equipment and test flanges that can hydro test valves to 36”, lapping machine, drilling machine, electro hydraulic test rig and 8 ton overhead crane. The company also has the resources to conduct Positive Material Identification on the materials and is also capable of providing painting services to meet our clients’ requirements.
The facilities allow MSD Engineering Pte Ltd to conduct repair, servicing and automation in Singapore and therefore ensuring our clients that the products purchased from MSD Engineering Pte Ltd are backed by technical support near their plants.
The staff is sent to factory for training or is trained by service manager from our manufacturers that come to conduct repair and servicing workshop for our staff in Singapore.
